Thanksgiving Mass
We are pleased to share that our Year 7–11 students and staff will come together to celebrate our annual Thanksgiving Mass at St Padre Pio Parish Church on Tuesday, 25 November at 9:00 am, celebrated by our Parish Priest, Father Johnson Joseph. This Mass is a meaningful opportunity for our college community to pause in gratitude for the blessings of the school year and to prepare our hearts as we enter the Advent season. We warmly invite parents and family members to join us for this special celebration, and we express our sincere thanks to Father Johnson for his ongoing support of the faith formation of our students and staff.
Thank You for Supporting the St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all parents and families who generously contributed to this year’s St Vincent de Paul Christmas Hamper Appeal. Your kindness and support will directly assist local St Vincent de Paul Chapters, who will deliver these hampers to families in need throughout the Christmas season.
This initiative is a meaningful expression of our Catholic faith and a practical way we live out the principles of Catholic Social Teaching—particularly the call to human dignity, solidarity, and preferential option for the poor. Through your generosity, our college community continues to witness the Gospel message of compassion and service in action.
Thank you for helping bring hope, dignity, and joy to others during this special time of year.
Wright and Kenny Houses Supporting Women and Families in Need by Dilpreet Kaur
Wright and Kenny Houses are proud to join forces for a special fundraising initiative supporting the National Breast Cancer Foundation and DV West. This event will take place at lunchtime on 27–28 November. Our aim is to raise both awareness and vital funds for two organisations that provide care, safety and hope for women, families and communities impacted by breast cancer and domestic violence.
Across the two days, students will be able to enjoy a variety of treats, including homemade baked goods, cookies, watermelon slices, Zooper Doopers, spiders and fairy bread, which can be pre-purchased on QKR or on the day via EFTPOS. More importantly, this initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for our college community to stand in solidarity with those facing significant hardship.
This fundraiser is deeply connected to our Catholic identity, reflecting the principles of human dignity, the common good, and solidarity. Guided by the words of Scripture, “Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Corinthians 16:14), we strive to put our faith into action by supporting those who need it most.
Through educating our community, raising awareness, and engaging in acts of kindness, we hope to inspire others to join us in making a positive difference. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of these important causes.
