YEAR 10 KEY INFORMATION: WEEK 3

Retreat

The Year Level Retreat was a great success! Students developed strong connections, engaged in meaningful reflection about who they are and who they aspire to be, and demonstrated remarkable resilience, friendship, and support for one another throughout the experience. 

SET Planning Interviews

SET Planning Interviews begin next week. Please ensure you are available for the appointment booked by your child. SET planning interviews will take place over the next three weeks and will support students in making informed decisions about their Senior Subject selections.

Term 3 Assessment Planners

Term 3 Assessment Planners are now available in the MyCE app. They are located in the ‘SCHOOL’ section under ‘DOCUMENTS’.  The images below provide a step-by-step guide to help you find the Assessment Planners in the MyCE app.

We encourage families to print and display the planner at home, to help students stay organised and keep track of assessment tasks throughout the term.

Academic Assembly

Our Academic Assembly is also coming up on Tuesday, where we will celebrate our students' achievements and successes from Semester 1. Students are required to wear their formal uniform for the assembly. 

Year 10 students will need to bring their sports uniform to change into afterwards for afternoon sports.

Careers

Australian Defence Force

The ADF in Cairns has opened applications for work experience opportunities for the remainder of 2026. Please refer to the the Defence Work Experience Program website and the table below for further details. Students must be 15 years of age or older to apply.
