Performing Arts Ms Stanton

Howdy all,

The countdown is incredibly close now! Next week our whole school concert will be performed on Thursday 10th September at the Hawthorn Arts Centre (360 Burwood Road) with a 7pm start time. Some other information that might be helpful:

• Students will attend a final rehearsal excursion during the school day to the Arts Centre on Thursday 10th September. Please ensure you have submitted your permission form on Nforma. Even students who cannot make it to the performance are strongly encouraged to attend the final rehearsal as it will allow them to have the experience of practising on a proper stage.
• Students should arrive at the HAC between 6:00pm-6:30pm in full costume. They will be escorted to the waiting area with their class.
• Doors for the audience open at 6:30pm.
• Final tickets (no number restrictions) are still available for purchase at: https://tickets.boroondara.vic.gov.au/Events/Trinity-Primary-Presents-A-Concert 
• If you would like to attend but cannot due to financial reasons please visit us in the office.

Students have been working incredibly hard in all realms of Performing Arts: acting, singing, and dancing their socks off to put together an amazing show for the Trinity community. Below are a few snapshots from rehearsals:

We’re also collecting video submissions from community members to be featured in a short film clip during the concert. The submission should be between 10-15 seconds and can feature you by yourself or in a group; you simply have to be doing an audition…BADLY. This could be singing, dancing, acting, gymnastics, juggling, etc. Please submit them to me (Ms Stanton) by Tuesday 8th September!
