Friends with Dignity

We have come to the end of our Year 7 service project, the purpose of which has been to raise money for Friends with Dignity. Thank you to those students who have made sacrifices of their time and huge efforts to raise funds. 

It has been interesting to see the range of tasks that students have undertaken including car washing, dog walking, ceiling fan cleaning and cooking and baking to name a few. Boarders have committed to undertaking these tasks during the Christmas holidays, so many of them have these tasks ahead of them. I am very proud of the way students have embraced this activity with little prompting from me. 

Giving service is such an important element of attending a Christian school and students’ willingness to participate has been very pleasing. Thank you to sponsors who have supported students in their endeavours. Now is the time to make the sponsorship payments and this can be done using the following steps:

1. Go to Parent Lounge
2. Events and Payments
3. Year 7 Fundraising
4. Accept the event
5. Nominate the amount or amounts to make up the sponsorship commitment by clicking the boxes
6. Click on the button proceed to payment
7. Click on email receipt to select email address before clicking pay now
8. Click pay now which will allow you to enter payment details

This is a reminder that payments needed to be made no later than Friday 15 November to allow us time to buy the items needed for the back to school backpacks, which are the items students have fundraised for.
