International Competitions and Assessments for Schools

This year, parents of students in Years 3 to 6 were encouraged to opt in to the International Competitions and Assessments for Schools (ICAS) competitions in five subject areas: English, Mathematics, Science, Digital Technologies and Spelling. These challenging online tests provide evidence of academic achievement relative to students from around the world. Certificates are awarded in the following categories:

  • High Distinction: for the top 1% of participants
  • Distinction: for the next 10% of participants
  • Credit: for the next 25%
  • Merit: for the next 10%
  • Participation: for all remaining participants

Whilst we celebrated our top achievers in Assembly, we congratulate all of our students who took part.

Remaining students will stay with their teachers with the following arrangements:

  • Pre-Prep students’ collection from classroom at 12:50pm
  • Prep to Year 6 students’ collection from Circular Drive at 12:50pm (or classrooms from 12:40pm)

Student Resources and Textbooks for 2025

Please refer to communication emailed on Thursday 31 October from Mrs Miranda Cavaliere - Teaching and Learning Office, regarding 2025 Student Resources and Textbooks.

Class Allocations 2025

As we plan for the 2025 school year, the class teachers will be organising class placements. Much time and effort will be placed into these decisions, with the teacher’s knowledge of friendships and how their students work best in the classroom. Considerations are also made on new students to the College and student learning needs across the cohort, to support a balanced class in all areas.

We appreciate your trust in our expertise in forming our classes, which are prepared with thorough review and discussion with the Primary Teaching Staff.  Whilst we understand parents may have requests for specific teachers or peer groups, this is not our process and would appreciate your understanding. Classes will be shared with our families in the new year, ahead of the 2025 school year. If you have any questions or concerns with this, please contact Mrs Fellowes.
