Year 2 students explore Clifton Hill

Exploring Clifton Hill
Grade 2 students are learning about the history of Clifton Hill as part of our Integrated Unit, 'Now and Then'. We have been exploring how our local community has changed over time, while also discovering some of the history that is still visible around us today.
Last week, we set off on a walk around Clifton Hill to visit some notable places in our local area. Beginning at our own school, we learnt about the history of our award-winning school building and the former organ factory before heading out to explore some other local landmarks.

Last week, the grade 2s at Clifton Hill Primary went for a walk around the suburb. First, we went to the shot tower. Next, we went to Darling Gardens. Afterwards, we went to the Maccas. After that, we went to the post office. Then we slowly walked back to school together.
