Principal's Message

Dear parents and carers,

Welcome back to term 3.

Celebrating Our 2026 NAPLAN Success

Congratulations to our Year 3 and Year 5 students on their outstanding efforts in this year's NAPLAN assessments.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students approached the assessments with confidence, perseverance and a commitment to doing their best.

As a school, we are delighted to share that our students achieved results above both our network and similar schools across all assessed areas of Reading, Writing, Conventions of Language and Numeracy. This is an outstanding achievement and reflects the collective efforts of our students, staff and families.

While NAPLAN provides just one measure of student achievement, it offers valuable information about how our students are progressing and helps us evaluate the effectiveness of our teaching programs. We use this information alongside our own school-based assessments to celebrate strengths, identify opportunities for growth and ensure every student is supported to reach their full potential.

These results are a testament to our school's continued focus on high-quality teaching, explicit instruction, and the strong learning culture that exists across our classrooms. They also reflect the important partnership we share with our families, whose encouragement and support make a significant difference to student success.

Thank you to Melinda and our Green Team for helping plant and protect our new gardens. Little fences are being installed so plants don't get stepped on!

Stay warm.
