Welcome to VCE 2026

As we begin a new school year, we warmly welcome all of our Year 11 and 12 students and families to Senior School. The commencement of VCE is an exciting and important milestone — a year of growth, challenge and opportunity. 

 

We look forward to partnering with you to ensure every student feels supported, focused and confident as they progress through their VCE journey.

 

A positive and organised start sets the tone for the year ahead. We encourage students to establish strong routines early, communicate openly with teachers, and seek support whenever needed. Together, we can make 2026 a successful and rewarding year.

 

VCE Parent Information Evening (Rescheduled)

Please note: Due to extreme weather, this event has been rescheduled to Monday 23 February.

We warmly invite parents, carers and students to join us for our:

 

VCE BBQ & Information Evening

6.00pm – BBQ (outside G Block)

6.30–7.30pm – VCE Information Session (Library Theatre)

 

This is a valuable opportunity to:

  • Connect with Senior School staff

  • Meet other VCE families

  • Gain important information about the structure and expectations of VCE

  • Understand key dates, assessment processes and support structures

Homework Club – Senior School Support

We are pleased to offer Homework Club for our Senior School students.

  • Every Tuesday 3:10pm onwards, Location: IMPACT (C7 space)

Homework Club is staffed by both Macleod College teachers and La Trobe University students, providing additional academic support across VCE subjects. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to:

  • Receive help with coursework and SAC preparation

  • Develop study routines and organisation skills

  • Work collaboratively in a supported environment

Food is provided, making it an inviting and productive space after school.

We strongly encourage students to take advantage of this valuable support opportunity.

 

Student Reminder – Signing In and Out

A reminder to all Senior School students:

  • If arriving after 9.00am, students must sign in at Reception using their student card.

  • If leaving campus before 3.10pm, students must sign out at Reception using their student card.

This is an important safety requirement and ensures accurate attendance records.

 

We are excited for the year ahead and look forward to working closely with our VCE families throughout 2026.
