A Fantast Start to the 2026 School Year!

We have had an incredibly positive and energetic start to the school year! It has been wonderful to see our students returning with enthusiasm, pride in their uniform, and a strong commitment to starting the year well.

Year 7 Transition Program

Our Year 7 students have made a fantastic start to high school through our comprehensive Transition Program. Over the first few days, students participated in team-building activities, orientation sessions and workshops designed to help them build friendships, understand school expectations and feel confident navigating their new environment.

It has been so pleasing to see the connections forming, students supporting one another and the growing sense of belonging within the year level. We are extremely proud of how positively our Year 7 cohort has embraced the move to secondary school.

Swimming Carnival Success

Our recent Swimming Carnival was an outstanding day filled with energy, house spirit and participation. The Year 7 and 8 students in particular demonstrated incredible enthusiasm, whether they were racing in competitive events, participating in novelty activities, or cheering loudly from the side-lines.

Events like these are such an important part of building school pride and connection, and it was fantastic to see so many students getting involved and supporting one another.

Year 7 Camp: 4–6 March

We are very much looking forward to our upcoming Year 7 Camp from 4–6 March. Camp is always a highlight of the year and provides students with a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships, challenge themselves, and create lasting memories.

A reminder that there will be an online Camp Information Evening on Monday 23 Feb. We strongly encourage all families to attend to ensure students are fully prepared for this exciting experience.

School Photos – 3 March

School Photos will take place on 3 March.

  • All students are required to wear their academic uniform.

  • If students have PE on that day, they are to bring their PE uniform in their bag and change for the lesson.

We appreciate families supporting students to be in full and correct uniform for photo day.

Athletics Carnival – 10 March

We are already looking ahead to our Athletics Carnival on 10 March. After such a successful Swimming Carnival, we are excited to see the same enthusiasm, participation and house spirit continue!

Important Reminders for Students

  • Students requiring a uniform pass must go to G Block office before school.
  • Student planners are part of the school uniform.
  • It is expected that students bring their student planner to every class, every day.

Student planners are an essential organisational tool and support students in developing strong learning habits from the very beginning of the year.

We are incredibly proud of the way our students have started 2026. The positive tone that has been set in these first few weeks gives us great confidence that this will be a successful and rewarding year for all.

We look forward to sharing many more achievements and celebrations with you throughout the term!
