Hello from 3D

On Wednesday 3rd June, the Year 3 team travelled to Twisted Science. They would love to tell you about it.

Twisted Science

By River - Wow! The Year 3 students had an exceptional adventure at Twisted Science, Moorabbin. First, we took a bus to the vast play centre and followed the path to it.

Next 3D came inside and went upstairs to the teal science lab to do some fun experiments. We played with Orbeez and soon after, we smelt some Orbeez such as cherry, berry rose and eucalyptus. Pooey! We also made snow with special snow with powder and liquid.

Afterwards we transferred downstairs to play wildly with the exhibits. We went into the blue and green spaces. I loved all of them and it was full of suspense in the ball air tubes, not knowing where it would go!

Finally, I would recommend this excursion to everyone. The best bit was the ball tubes. I recommended to everyone because there are experiments for all ages

By Xavier T - What an amazing day we had at Twisted Science in Moorabbin. We travelled by a bus and arrived at 10:00. I was feeling happy.

Next, 3D moved to the teal science lab for sensory science. First we played with slimy Orbeez and then we smelt pungent ones! The green ones were the best out of the three other ones.

Afterwards we got a bunch of records on the press the button game. A little bit later I did a float the balloon with air through hoops and it was a little hard. Greyson and I went in a booth. We were going crazy and falling down which was lots of fun. After that people ate bugs.

Finally, we went on the bus. I sat next to Xavier B. I think this place is for kids. When we got back we had snack, a play and a movie. I loved it and I want to go again.

By Tessa - What a brilliant day we had at Twisted Science. All the Year 3 students went on a bus and I sat next to Ariya on the way. We arrived at Moorabbin at 10:00. I was feeling excited.

Next, 3D moved to the till lap for sensory science. First, we got to feel the colourful Orbeez. The orbs were slimy and then we got to smell some Orbeez. Some scents were

eucalyptus, cherry berry and rose. After we got to make fake snow with water on snow powder.

Afterwards we wandered downstairs to the green and blue exhibits. It was so interesting. There were bubbles, ropes, paper planes, and so much more. I went on the ropes and so many more activities.

I recommend Twisted Science for kids over 2 years old
