Bentley Bombers

With the football season winding up, we finally had the highly anticipated and overdue return of the Bentley Bombers.
It has been 30 years since the first Bentley Bombers team took to the field and it was great to see the original coach, Garry Bentley in attendance for the two matches.
The team played two games against CMS and with a couple of trainings completed, the girls were excited to represent the College. Both games were good performances with all players fighting strongly for the ball and using high levels of skill and hard running to finish off their good work. It was really pleasing to see the senior students of Tamika Rumpff, Issy Treloar, Nellie Crellin and Skye Childs take an active role in coaching and supporting the younger students.
Well done to all the players, especially those who were playing their first ever games of football. Standout performers over the two matches were: Olivia Schulz, Annasteene Gibson and Madi Williams.
The players were: Olivia Schulz, Annasteene Gibson, Madi Williams, Natalina Forbes, Khloe Ronberg, Flo Bettineschi, Tessa Quilliam, Lily Dodd, Leila Laila, Lorraine Silverton-Collins, Luci Ewin, An Tran, Jahna Tranter and Nellie Oliver.
A special mention to the PE department and staff members for their support of the team, and to BJ Rowse, for his assistance with coaching. Looking forward to seeing more Bentley Bombers success in 2026!
