Year Six Camp at Point Walter – A Memorable Adventure!
Between Monday 23 March and Wednesday 25 March, our Year Six students embarked on an unforgettable camp at the Point Walter Recreation and Convention Centre. Over three fun‑filled days, students pushed themselves, made new friends, and embraced every opportunity that came their way.
Students enjoyed a wide variety of activities including abseiling, the flying fox, orienteering, raft making, pool activities, team‑building challenges, archery, and much more! Each experience encouraged students to step outside their comfort zones, work collaboratively, and grow in confidence.
Throughout the camp, students developed important life skills such as teamwork, leadership, resilience, problem‑solving, and the ability to face challenges with determination. It was wonderful to see them supporting one another, celebrating achievements, and discovering new personal strengths.

A heartfelt thank you to all the staff who attended the camp and helped ensure our students had a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience. Your time and dedication are truly appreciated.
Congratulations to Year 3 and Year 5 on Completing NAPLAN 2026
A huge congratulations to our Year 3 and Year 5 students and teachers for the successful completion of the 2026 NAPLAN assessments. Students approached the national testing period with maturity, positivity, and a commitment to doing their personal best.
We are incredibly proud of the respectful way all students engaged with the assessment requirements and supported one another throughout the experience. Well done, everyone!
4G and 4R Shine in the Week 7 Assembly
Congratulations to 4G and 4R for hosting an outstanding Week 7 assembly, centred around Harmony Week and the message that everyone belongs. Students beautifully highlighted how each person’s unique culture and story contributes to the richness of our Salvado community.
With over 50 languages spoken across our college, the assembly was a wonderful reminder of the diversity, inclusion, and value that every student and family brings to Salvado Catholic College. The performances, reflections, and messages shared were heartfelt, thoughtful, and inspiring.
Well done to all students and teachers involved for creating such a meaningful and memorable celebration!
Regards,
Mrs Christine Overing
