Do it for Dolly Day

💙 Wear Blue for "Do It For Dolly Day"

Mark your calendars! On Friday, 8th May, our school will be turning into a sea of blue as we participate in Do It For Dolly Day. We invite all students to dress in blue to help raise awareness and take a stand against bullying.

Donation: Please bring a gold coin donation on the day. All proceeds will go toward supporting anti-bullying initiatives and spreading kindness.

🌟 A Week of Kindness

Throughout the week leading up to Friday, our classrooms will be dedicated to learning about Kindness. This isn't just about being "nice"—it's about understanding the impact our actions have on others.

Our learning journey will cover:

  • Banter vs. Bullying: Students will explore the fine line between "just joking" and behaviour that is hurtful, ensuring everyone understands when a line has been crossed.
  • The Power of the Upstander: We are empowering our students to move from being bystanders to becoming upstanders. They will learn practical ways to safely support peers and speak up against unkindness.
  • Creating a Kind Culture: Classes will brainstorm and identify specific ways to weave kindness into the very fabric of our school culture.
  • Celebrating Connection: We will be sharing and celebrating real-life acts of kindness observed within our school community.

🗨️ Join the Conversation

We encourage families to chat with their children throughout the week about what they are learning. Kindness is a superpower, and when we work together, we can make sure our school is a place where everyone feels they belong.

Reminder Checklist:

  1. Wear something blue on Friday, 8th May.
  2. Bring a gold coin donation.
  3. Think of one kind thing you can do for someone else!

Together, we can make kindness go viral. Let’s do it for Dolly!
