Sacramental Mass  ~ Pentecost Sunday

We are overjoyed to share the wonderful news of our recent sacramental celebrations! On Sunday, May 19th, our school & parish community gathered to witness and celebrate the sacraments of Confirmation and First Eucharist for our Sacramental candidates. The Mass was truly a beautiful and moving occasion, filled with the grace and presence of the Holy Spirit.

First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the children who received their sacraments. Your commitment to your faith and your willingness to embrace these important steps in your spiritual journey is an inspiration to us all. May these sacraments strengthen your relationship with God and guide you in your daily lives.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the families of these children. Your support, love, and dedication have been instrumental in preparing them for this significant moment. Your presence at the celebration Mass and cluster groups added to the joy and solemnity of the occasion, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you goes out to our dedicated parish sacramental team. Your tireless efforts in organising, teaching, and preparing the children for these sacraments go above & beyond. Your commitment to fostering the spiritual growth of our Sacramental Candidates is a true blessing, and we are deeply grateful for your service.

Our Sacramental Mass was a beautiful reflection of our faith and community spirit. The church was filled with the harmonious voices of the Samoan choir, the reverent participation of the congregation, and the palpable sense of God's love. It was a reminder of the power of faith and the importance of coming together as a parish family to celebrate and support one another.

As we continue to grow in faith together, let us keep these children in our prayers, asking God to bless and guide them always. May their journey in faith be filled with joy, love, and the unwavering support of our parish community.

Once again, congratulations to all the children, and thank you to their families and our sacramental team for making this celebration so special.

Our school community had the privilege of congratulating our Sacramental Candidates from St. Mel's Primary School at a school gathering this Wednesday afternoon. Our staff & students have been praying for our students during their journey and made cards for each of our candidates to congratulate them. Our Sacramental Children had the opportunity to share the highlights from their sacramental journey, celebration Mass and the reasons behind their chosen confirmation names.

Celebrating our Sacramental Children this Sunday at Mass!

This Sunday, 2 June, you are invited to attend either the 9:30am or 5pm Mass.

We call these our Welcoming Masses as it allows our Parishioners to be a part of your journey and help you feel a part of our Parish community.

At these Masses, our sacramental children will be presented with their certificates and receive a blessing. We will also have your profiles and books for you to take home.

Please remember to wear your stole.

Look forward to seeing you all on Sunday.

Have a lovely end to your week.

FIRE Carriers Program ~ Friends Igniting Reconciliation through Education

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent FIRE Carriers Commissioning Ceremony, held for our remarkable Year 5 and Year 6 students. This special event marks a significant milestone as our student leaders embrace their roles as FIRE Carriers within our school & wider community.

Our students demonstrated great enthusiasm and dedication throughout the ceremony, showcasing their understanding and respect for the traditions and responsibilities that come with being FIRE Carriers.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Michael Chisholm from Catholic Education Sandhurst Limited for his unwavering support and guidance, which have been instrumental in making this event a memorable and meaningful experience for our students. Special thanks to the Academy of Sport, Health, and Education (ASHE) staff & students, Seldan Andrews & Keagan for their invaluable contribution to educating and inspiring our young Fire Carriers by welcoming country & conducting a smoking ceremony.

Lastly, we deeply appreciate the families who joined us in this celebration. Your support and encouragement play a crucial role in fostering a strong sense of community and belonging among our students.

Thank you all for making the FIRE Carriers Commissioning Ceremony a resounding success. We look forward to seeing our students grow and flourish in their new roles, carrying forward the torch of cultural respect and environmental stewardship within our school community.
