A Message from the Principal

Over the past two weeks, the College has been bustling with exciting events and activities. I am delighted to share some highlights with you.
Our recent secondary and primary swimming carnivals were a great success and a fantastic opportunity for students to participate in friendly competition. Students showcased their swimming skills and team spirit, making it a memorable event for everyone involved. Everyone enjoyed the day of fun and camaraderie. Thank you to all parents and staff who supported and cheered on our swimmers.
In the past two weeks, we held parent information evenings, from Early Years through to Year 11. These sessions provided parents with valuable insights into teaching and learning programs, college policies and other activities. It was wonderful to see so many families in attendance, actively participating and asking insightful questions. Your involvement is greatly appreciated.
Last Friday, our Year Seven students had an enriching excursion to St Francis Xavier Catholic Church. This visit deepened their understanding of the Catholic faith and the Church's role in our community. The students were respectful and engaged, making the experience both educational and meaningful. Thank you to Fr Mark and our staff who made this excursion possible.
Last weekend, our Year 3, 4 and 6 students and their families attended an enrolment Mass to mark the beginning of their child's journey towards receiving the sacraments. It was a significant milestone in their spiritual development. We look forward to walking with them on this journey as they prepare for their Sacraments.
Today, we celebrated Salvado Day to commemorate the faithful work and service of our College Patron, Bishop Rosendo Salvado. We attended Mass and we endeavour to live the values of peace, justice and compassion, in the same way Rosendo Salvado lived his life.
Thank you for your continued support and involvement in our college community.
Kind regards,
Karen Prendergast
Principal
