Year 3 to Year 6
What a fantastic week we’ve had at our Year 4 to Year 6 Swimming Carnival! The event was an incredible success, and we are thrilled to share the wonderful highlights with you.
Perfect Weather for a Fun-Filled Day
The weather couldn’t have been better, providing the ideal conditions for an exciting day of swimming. With the sun shining brightly, students, teachers, and parents were able to fully enjoy the day’s activities in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Great Student and Parent Attendance
We were absolutely delighted to see such fantastic attendance from our students, who participated with great enthusiasm and energy. It was also wonderful to have so many parents and caregivers join us to cheer on the competitors, creating an incredible sense of community. Your support truly made the day memorable!
Teamwork and Achievement
One of the most heartening aspects of the day was the overwhelming sense of teamwork and achievement displayed by the students. Whether participating in individual events or supporting their classmates in relays, students demonstrated sportsmanship, determination, and pride in their efforts. The teamwork in the relay races was particularly impressive, as students cheered each other on and celebrated both individual and team successes.
Recognising Efforts and Achievements
Throughout the carnival, we saw many personal bests achieved, and all students should be incredibly proud of their performances. The spirit of friendly competition was evident, with every swimmer striving to do their best. It was inspiring to see the students push themselves, and we couldn't be more proud of how they embraced the event.
The carnival was also a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence and develop essential life skills such as resilience, goal-setting, and collaboration.
Thank You to Everyone Involved
We would like to extend a thank you to the Teachers, especially our Sports Teacher Mr Fiegert, and Education Assistants. Your involvement made the event even more special, and it’s clear that the partnership between school and home plays a key role in creating such a positive and successful experience.
Congratulations to all of our students for their participation and sportsmanship. We look forward to more opportunities!
Warm regards,
Mrs Christine Pitman
