Sibling Survey

If you have a child starting in Foundation at Karoo in 2027, please complete the sibling survey so we can begin preparing for the 2027 Foundation intake.  Enrolments are submitted online, and the 2027 Enrolment packs will be available from Term 2.

2027 Foundation Enrolments 

Have a child starting Foundation in 2027 and not sure what to do?

As all Foundation enrolments are now completed online, here is a quick run down on what you need to do ...

1. Fill in the Sibling survey to receive an enrolment pack, or request one from the school office (which includes a quick reference guide for the new process) - available from Term 2.
2. Submit an online enrolment application through the online VicStudents portal for Foundation (Prep) between Monday 20th April and Friday 31st July 2026.
3. Book in at the start of Term 2 for Story Time and Foundation Discovery sessions (see dates below).
4. You will be notified of the outcome of your application between Monday 3rd August Friday 14th August 2026. If you receive an enrolment offer from our school, simply log back in to your VicStudents parent portal and follow the prompts to accept the offer by Friday 28th August 2026.
5. Take part in enrolment information and transition sessions during Term 4, 2026 (see dates below).
6. Prepare your child to start Foundation (Prep) from early February2027 (start date to be confirmed).

Enrolment applications submitted after 31st July 2026 will be processed by our school as they are received, in accordance with the department’s Placement Policy.

Celebrating Education Week

You and your child are invited to experience a 'taste of school' in our Foundation area, where children can enjoy a range of engaging activities. All pre-school children welcome to come along and meet our Leaders, Foundation and Specialist teams. Open to all pre-schoolers and their families.

Pre-school children are invited to join our story time sessions in the school library from 9:30-10:00am on the following days (bookings required via above QR code):

Transition @ Karoo

We are holding the following transition sessions for students enrolled in Foundation at Karoo in 2026, where they will 'discover and learn' in the Foundation environment and are introduced to school life.   

Session 1:  Wednesday 28th October 2026 from 9:30-10:30am

Session 2:  Wednesday 11th November 2026 from 9:30-10:30am

Session 3:  Tuesday 24th November 2026 from 9:30-11:00am

Session 4:  Tuesday 8th December 2026 from 9:30-11:15am   (State wide Foundation Orientation Day)
