Science 

In Science this term we have been focusing on Earth and Space Sciences. 

In Prep, students have been learning about weather and learned about specific words and symbols that represent types of weather. Students drew pictures of the weather they like and what we wear, do and eat depending on the type of weather. 

In Year 1 and 2, we have been learning about what we see in the night sky and have also identified and modelled the things found in space. Students created wonderful models of objects that can be found in space.  

In Year 3 and 4, we have been learning about the water cycle. Students have identified the processes of the water cycle and investigated how freshwater is collected through runoff and infiltration.

In Year 5 and 6, we have been learning about our solar system. Students have identified the planets and other objects found in our solar system and begun identifying the relative size of the planets to make a scaled model.
