I See I Care Program

On Thursday 12th March, as part of the I See I Care Program, nine grade six students enjoyed an exciting excursion to the Sorrento Pier, where they swam in the ocean and explored the marine life of Victoria. Students snorkelled alongside four other schools, hoping to spot dolphins in the bay. While no dolphins appeared, they were thrilled to see seals sunbaking on an old shipwreck, leafy sea dragons, colourful coral, and many other sea creatures. Even though the weather was cold and windy, the students had a fantastic time and loved the hands-on learning experience. It was a wonderful way to spend a school day, discovering the amazing marine life that lives in our own state.
