Year 9 Debating Update

Our Year 9 debating teams have been working hard throughout the DAV Schools Competition this year. Over the season, they’ve learned how to build strong arguments, speak with confidence, and work together as a team.

Last Thursday, their efforts paid off with a great achievement — their first win of the season against Mackillop College. It was a well-deserved result after weeks of preparation and practice.

We’re proud of how much they’ve improved and look forward to seeing them continue to grow as the season goes on. Well done to all involved!

Year 9 Paisley Day #1 – Friday, May 16

On Friday, May 16, Our Year 9 students attended their first 'Paisley Day' as part of the Year 10 Orientation. They spent the day at the Paisley campus, following their usual timetable with current teachers.

Students arrived by 8:40 am for a short assembly and were dismissed at 3:15 pm. The canteen was available, and students were required to wear full uniform and bring class materials.

The day included campus tours, live music, and lunchtime activities, helping students transition to senior school while reinforcing the values of learning, respect, and responsibility.

Our next Year 9 Paisley Day is June 19th. More information will be provided at a later time.

Friendly Reminder - Williamstown Campus Carpark

Just a quick reminder that the drop-off zone is now at Gate 4, in line with child safety standards. Please check gate numbers next time you drive past.

The car park near the tennis courts is now staff-only, and boom gates are in use. Access requires a pass, except from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, when it’s open for the Tennis Club.
