Principal's Update

Principal: Milan Matejin

Good afternoon all,

Annual Report to the School Community 2024

At our last College Council meeting held recently, amongst the various agenda items on discussion was the Annual Report for 2024. The department requires College Council to receive the Annual Report to the School Community 2024 prior to it being published.  It provides a snapshot of the school's performance, achievements, and activities over the previous year, completing a legislative obligation to share information with the school community and the Victorian Department of Education.  The Annual Report must be endorsed at a meeting of school council and attested to by the principal, the department and the college council president.

The discussions at College Council were informative.  The college is also embarking on its next four-year School Strategic Plan.  This report was an opportunity to realign the focus and continue the improvement in teaching and learning, social engagement and wellbeing of students.

The Annual Report to the School Community 2024, will be available on our website.

Our New College Bus

The recently purchased college bus has been actively engaged across all three campuses. Our driver, Jo, has been busy driving students and teachers around the metropolitan area throughout the term.

This has been particularly pleasing as it has resulted in the biggest change to our primary programs, with students having greater access to go out on activities with far less cost and fewer restrictions. One of our goals in the primary years is to engage our students in the community so that they can explore and discover what is so great about the community they live in and the wider parts of the city.

This year, we have taken advantage of the bus to move our prospective students and their parents between our junior sites and Paisley on school tours to get the whole college experience.

The bus has also received its final branding with the college logo and details. Its presence will become more visible in the community.
