Rowville District Inter School Sports
Summer Sports
Well done to all our Year 5 and 6 teams who competed at the District Summer Sports competition!! Due to the poor weather and ground conditions last Friday, our second day of play was cancelled. The District Coordinators have worked hard to determine the position of schools for each sport. Further results from the District competition will be announced in a future newsletter but overall our school had a resounding success across Cricket, Hot Shots Tennis, Softball and Volleyball.
This year, we wish to congratulate the following students whose teams have advanced to the Division Championships. These teams have made it through to the Division competition due to their tremendous effort and positive win ratio from the first day of play at the District level. Congratulations and we wish them the best of luck at the Division Championships!
Below are the following dates of the Division Championships in Term 4 as listed on the SSV website.

Dates and venues are subject to changes according to the SSV coordinators and will be notified to parents via the Operoo permission form sent early in Term 4.
Footy Colours Day - Tuesday 12th September
Well done to everyone who dressed up in their favourite AFL team or footy team of their choice. It was a great sea of colour through the school with many taking a footy outside in the sunshine to play during the recess and lunch breaks.
Knox Rebel Sport Community Partnership with St Simons
Knox Rebel Sport has been a wonderful sponsor of our school in the past and this year. All purchases at this store by parents of the St Simon’s school community provide our school with store credits. These credits are used to provide the school with sporting equipment for sporting activities.
We highly recommend that the next time you visit or purchase an item from Rebel Sport in Knox, ask how to earn credits for our school. Thank you all for your support of our school through our Knox Rebel Sport Community partnership.
