Nude Food is Back
Nude Food!
Nude Food Day is off to a great start at St Simon’s. Nude Food is a fantastic way to teach students the difference their actions can make for their own health and the health of our environment. By teaching students the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, environmental sustainability and the difference their actions can make, we can influence the next generation to be global innovators.
On every Nude Food Thursday please encourage your child to bring in healthy food with as little processing and packaging as you can. We are
encouraging students to select food with no packaging such as bananas, kiwi, apples or tomatoes. Also we are encouraging students to place their recess and lunch in reusable containers that they will take home.
Thanking you in advance for supporting and participating in our Nude Food Day each Thursday. By making a conscious effort to bring healthy, rubbish free food we hope to see a dramatic change in our rubbish levels, as we have when this program was run in previous years. We hope that Nude Food Thursday encourages a healthy and environmentally friendly change to our students' lunches throughout the year.
