Eclipse House News
It has been a busy few weeks in Eclipse House. We’ve celebrated a number of student achievements, with several Endeavour Awards being presented to members of the house. Congratulations to Corinthian Calwyn, William Egerton-Warburton, Denver Jenkins, Leo Cunningham, Patrick Buckenara, Matt Cant, Riley Jenkins and Darcy Roberts on receiving these well-deserved accolades - it was fantastic to see.
Examinations have been in full swing over the past few weeks for Years Ten, Eleven, and Twelve. It was encouraging to see the dedication and effort shown by the Year Eleven students in their studies. Many took the opportunity to attend tutoring sessions over at Breaksea, while others stayed in-house to make the most of the resources available.
In Week Nine, the house was busy preparing for the final week of term. Some students were getting ready for the Canberra Tour, while many others were packing and preparing for Country Week in Perth.
For those remaining in the house, alternate dinner arrangements were planned, with each boarding house hosting on different nights. We’re looking forward to seeing some collaboration and camaraderie between the houses. In addition, several sleepovers were organised within Eclipse, offering a fun change to the usual routine and hopefully adding a bit of excitement as the holidays approach.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the supervisors and students of Eclipse House for their support this term. It has been a genuine pleasure to spend time with all the boys and to witness the commitment and passion of the supervisors in making boarding a welcoming and positive environment for the students.
Birthdays
Since our last issue of The Boarding Buzz, we have celebrated the birthday of Nicholas Hams. William Egerton-Warburton was also one of our recent birthdays in the house, however he celebrated his special day whilst away on the Canberra trip. Happy birthday to both boys.
