Purple Waves of Change

Event: Purple Waves of Change: A Rotary Says NO To Family and Domestic Violence Community Day
Date/Time: Sunday 23 November 2025, 10:00am–6:00pm
Location: Moana Surf Life Saving Club & surrounds
Purpose: A family-friendly day raising awareness and support for local family and domestic violence prevention services.

Fun activities include a purple themed dog walk (dogs are optional) at 10 am, welcome and guest speaker Minister Katrine Hildyard at 11.15 am; live entertainment from Purple Monkey from 3pm-6pm and much more including Purple Chuck A Duck competition, free face painting, all day BBQ, rides and subject to the weather, we may even have some miniature horses in attendance at 12.30pm.

The Women's Information Service and Police will also have a stand at the event.

AYFC 2026 Trials – MiniRoos & Youth State League

Adelaide Youth Football Club (AYFC) is excited to announce trials for our 2026 MiniRoos and Youth State League (YSL) teams!

As we wrap up a fantastic inaugural season in 2025, we’re proud of the strong foundations we’ve built both on and off the pitch. Now, we’re looking to grow even further and we want YOU to be part of our journey.

Our Mission

AYFC is a youth football club that aims to develop and sustain one of the best youth football coaching programs in South Australia — without placing a financial burden on our community. We’re committed to making quality football accessible for all passionate young players.

WHO CAN TRIAL?

We’re inviting boys and girls aged 6 to 16 to trial for:

MiniRoos (U6 to U11)

Youth State League (U12 to U16)

Trial Location:

Sam Johnson Reserve – Swan Ct, Renown Park

Trial Dates & Times:

• U10: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

• U11: 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Sat 25 October 2025

• U6 & U7: 8:30 AM – 9:15 AM

• U8: 9:30 AM – 10:15 AM

• U9: 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM

• U10: 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM

• U11: 1:00 PM – 1:45 PM

• U12: 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM

• U13: 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM

Players from U10 to U13 are encouraged to attend both sessions for their age group.

IMPORTANT INFO

While we aim to accommodate as many players as possible, final team placements are dependent on coach availability and squad sizes.

Where there are more players than available positions, selection is at the discretion of AYFC coaches and the committee.

Selection will be based on passion, skill, potential, and where possible, family considerations (e.g., siblings at the club).

All players will be notified of the outcome by 31 October 2025.
