Welcome back to Term 3! I hope that all the girls, and their families, had a wonderful break and were able to rest, relax and reflect on their application and approach to learning in Semester One.
Semester One Award Recipients
On Tuesday 28 July, as a College, we gathered to recognise the efforts of our Year 7-10 students in Semester One.
This year marks a significant shift in how we recognise academic excellence at the College. Academic recognition will now be awarded to the student who achieves the highest overall grade or cumulative assessment score in any given subject at the end of the semester. In other words, these awards will honor students who place first in their course.
For Semester 1 specifically, some courses resulted in multiple first-place recognitions. In the event that three or more co-winners were named for a single subject, the First in Course Award was instead presented as an Excellence in Subject Award.
