Student Achievements

Earlier this month, we shared that Year 12 student Kallym Huffer had been selected to represent Victoria as captain of the Victorian Under-19 team at the Australian National Boxing Championships in Brisbane.

Now that the championships have concluded, we'd like to congratulate Kallym once again on this outstanding achievement. While he didn't come away with the result he had hoped for, being selected to captain Victoria and compete against Australia's best young boxers is an incredible accomplishment in itself.

We're also celebrating the success of brothers Urijah and Izaiah Harrington, who also competed at the Australian School Championships in Brisbane.

Year 9 student Urijah claimed his third Australian School Championship title, while Year 8 student Izaiah won his first Australian School Championship title and was named Best Under-15 Boxer of the Tournament.

Representing Victoria, Kallym, Urijah and Izaiah showcased exceptional skill, dedication and commitment to their sport. Congratulations to all three students, we have no doubt we'll be seeing more from these talented students in the future and look forward to following their boxing journey
