Armidale Diocesan Cricket

Congratulations to the Holy Trinity cricket team who competed against O'Connor Catholic Collage in the Diocesan cricket match during week 6. Holy Trinity batted first and reached a score of 112 with 5 wickets down after 20 overs. The batting innings was highlighted by an outstanding individual performance by Archie Sterling, who reached 43 Not out after batting all 20 overs. He was well supported by Lane Hosking (15) and Julian Collins (19). In reply O'Connor benefitted from an ultra aggressive style of play, to chase down the runs in 13 overs, scoring the required 113 for victory with 3 wickets down. All players should be proud of their effort and enthusiasm on the day.
