Kitchen Garden 

 Welcome to our Kitchen Garden and the end of 2025.

Wow this year has really flown and what an amazing year we have had in our Kitchen Garden. Term 4 is always my favourite time in the garden and no wonder.  Our garden has been overflowing with beautiful flowers, Calendula, poppies, viola, paper daisies, corn flower, nasturtium and sunflowers. A perfect time to make our annual Flower Christmas Trees and a great time to learn our flower names.

Potato Hunt

More fun than digging for gold our Potato hunt always manages to get our students smiling.  We managed to dig out a bumper crop with two main varieties to use in our kitchen.

What a way to finish off the year, St.Aś won the Best Kitchen Garden/Edible Garden for 2025.

Our Year 6 Sustainability & School Captains proudly received the 1st Place award at the Victorian Schools Garden Program. A fantastic team effort, thankyou to Chris, Lauren, Ed & Esther and of course our brilliant students that tend and care for  all the living things in our garden. 

Thankyou to all our families who have visited, donated or assisted our Kitchen Garden this year, we look forward to seeing you next year.
