Kitchen/Garden Award - Best Edible Garden
It was great to be able to head into the Botanic Gardens with Miss Bishop and students and receive a garden award for Best Edible Garden!
This Category is all about how we use our Kitchen Garden.
We use our garden a lot with our amazing Kitchen/Garden Program that students get to plant/harvest/cook/taste and share.
Our Garden/Kitchen lunchtime clubs are also well loved.
The award reflects an amazing team effort and big thanks to staff that support the kitchen garden program and all our students that use this space.
Well done everyone!
Regards Sandy

Grade 6 Fun Day: Gumbuya World
To mark the end of their primary school journey, our Grade 6 students enjoyed an unforgettable day at Gumbuya World! From thrilling rides to splashing around in the water park, the excursion was filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of shared memories. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to relax, celebrate their achievements, and enjoy time with friends before heading off to secondary school.
- “Gumbaya World was probably one of the best experiences I have had at school so far. We went on multiple rides and slides, which were all awesome. Overall the day was great and the weather held out for us to enjoy the event.” - Isaac
- “Yesterday was one of the most fun times I have had in Year 6. I loved the freedom that we had to walk around independently with our friends. The best part was the Boomerang, and getting to ride with multiple friends.” - Lily
A big thank-you to our staff who supported the day and helped make this special celebration safe, smooth, and fun for everyone. We are incredibly proud of our Grade 6 cohort and wish them all the best in the next chapter of their learning adventure!
Prep – Year 2 Swimming Program Report
Over the past week, our Prep, Year 1, and Year 2 students have been taking part in our annual Swimming Program — and what a fantastic effort it has been!
Students showed wonderful enthusiasm each day, arriving ready to learn, try their best, and build confidence in the water.
Throughout the program, they worked on a range of important water safety and swimming skills, including floating, kicking, blowing bubbles, using kickboards, and practicing safe entries and exits from the pool.
Our younger swimmers demonstrated incredible bravery, especially those stepping into the pool for the very first time. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with every session, while the older students continued to refine their skills.
A huge thank you to all the teachers and LSO’s for supporting the students so positively, and to our families for ensuring students were prepared each day.
Well done to all our Prep–Year 2 swimmers - you should be very proud of your achievements in the pool!
Maths Online Learning Superstars!
Throughout the year, students across all year levels participated in online learning through the school provided platforms; Mathletics (Grades 2-6) and Mathseeds (Prep & Grade 1). We saw so many students participating and scaffolding their classroom learning with additional activities.
- 96% of students logged on from Grade 2 and up to complete activities, accruing over 2,100 hours of home learning time, some outstanding numbers!
- 50 of our students in Prep and Grade 1 began their journey too - thank you to the parents who are supporting their students to access and engage!
At our Week 8 Assembly, we recognised the outstanding achievements of our top Mathletics and Mathseeds students. Congratulations to Katalaya Lovegrove (Mathletics) and Thomas Hampton (Mathseeds) on winning the respective medals for the most activities completed!
We also recognised the classes that earned the most certificates over the course of 2025, with Prep C and Grade 2C taking home the silverware!
All digital platforms will remain online over the summer months, with a small amount of downtime to complete the roll over of students.
