Principal's Report

Dear St A's community,
Thank You to Our School Community
As we reach the end of another busy and rewarding school year, we’d like to take a moment to reflect on all that our students, staff, and families have achieved together. From classroom milestones and sporting successes to creative projects, community events, and countless moments of growth, it has been a year filled with learning, laughter, and progress.
We are incredibly proud of our students for their hard work, resilience, and positive spirit. From the first day of term to the final weeks of the year, we have watched them build confidence, develop new skills, and embrace challenges with enthusiasm. In the classroom, students have strengthened their understanding across all learning areas, taken ownership of their learning, and shown curiosity that has sparked meaningful inquiry and discussion.
Beyond academics, we have seen tremendous growth in teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving as students supported one another and demonstrated kindness and empathy.
This year has also brought many opportunities for creativity, athletic achievement, and community involvement. Whether performing on stage, representing the school in sport, participating in special projects, or contributing to community initiatives, our students have showcased their talents and passions in inspiring ways. Most importantly, each student has taken their own unique steps forward—small or large—and we celebrate those milestones with great pride. Their progress reflects not only their determination, but also the support of families, the dedication of staff, and the strong partnership that defines our school community.
Our staff have continued to go above and beyond to support and inspire our students every step of the way. We acknowledge and deeply appreciate their commitment, professionalism, and passion; they are at the heart of everything our school has achieved this year.
To our families, thank you for being such wonderful partners. Your involvement—whether volunteering, attending events, offering encouragement, or supporting from afar—has made a meaningful difference. Our school thrives because of the strong connection between families, staff, and the wider community. Your commitment, generosity, and positivity help create a nurturing and vibrant environment where our students can learn, grow, and succeed.
Our heartfelt thanks goes out to our entire school community. Thank you for being such an important part of our school’s journey this year. We truly appreciate everything you do.

Farewell to Our Departing Staff
We would like to extend our warmest thanks and best wishes to three wonderful members of our teaching staff who will be moving on to new schools.
Chrissie Ritchie, Sarah Luxford, and Sam White have each made a tremendous contribution to our school community. Their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for our students have been deeply appreciated, and their presence will be greatly missed.
Chrissie’s calm guidance, Sarah’s creativity and enthusiasm, and Sam’s positive energy have enriched our classrooms and supported our staff in countless ways. We are grateful for all they have done and for the time, passion, and hard work they have invested in our school.
We wish Chrissie, Sarah, and Sam every success and happiness as they begin the next chapter of their careers. Their new schools are very lucky to have them.
Thank you for everything, and best of luck for the future!
