Narrative Writing

The Year 5/6 students have started the year by exploring narrative writing. They have been learning how to structure a story using a clear story arc, develop rich and engaging characters and settings, and enhance their writing through more precise and descriptive vocabulary.

We are very proud of the effort students have put into their writing, and our classrooms are now filled with some fantastic narrative displays showcasing their work.

Premiers' Reading Challenge

The Premiers' Reading Challenge has now begun, inviting students to explore the world of stories and build a lifelong love of reading. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to discover new books, authors and ideas while developing important reading skills. We encourage families to support their child by reading regularly and logging completed books online. Enjoy sharing reading time together at home — whether it’s a picture book, chapter book or independent reading, every book truly makes a difference!
