Thank you to the families who sent in recipes for the school Recipe Book. Pre-orders for the Recipe Book are open now as the book is being finalised, see below for more information.

St Brendan’s School Recipe Book
Pre-orders now open!
The Parents and Friends are pleased to offer pre-orders for the St Brendan’s Primary School Recipe Book.
We are grateful to families in our school community who have shared recipes to make a very special Recipe Book. The book is being finalised and will showcase our vibrant, multicultural community.
The book will include:
- Over 70 recipes
- Family favourite recipes
- Variety of recipes – main dishes, side dishes, desserts, baking
- Diverse cuisine – Indian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Croatian, Dutch, Indonesian, South Sudanese, Italian among others!
The Recipe Book would make a great gift or keepsake for those in the school community.
This fundraiser will help support projects at the school.
Pre-orders will help guide how many books will be printed. Books will be sent home with students in November. There will still be books available for sale following the pre-order.
Thank you to Prominent Group for their support with this project.
Place your order via CDF Pay app by 5pm on Wednesday, 28th October. Orders will be sent home with students from November 2026.
Recipe Book – Student Artwork Submissions
We want to include students artwork in the School Community Recipe Book.
Some lucky students artwork will be chosen to go on the cover of the book, most other artwork will be included inside the book. Students whose artwork is chosen to go on the cover will get a copy of the book to recognise their contribution.
We encourage students to draw pictures of their favourite food/meal and return them to the school office by Thursday 17 September 2026 or following the holidays.
Canteen Friday
We hope the students enjoyed the donuts during Term 3 and 4. In Term 4 we will be back selling Zooper Doopers each Friday.

P&F Involvement
Involvement in the P&F and the school community comes in all different forms and doesn't need to be a big time commitment.
Please reach out to the P&F if you may be able to help out during the year. Requests for help are sent out via PAM/Simon and the newsletter.
If you are interested in becoming a Committee Member – please contact us to have a chat. Being a part of the Committee isn’t a large time commitment and there are no set requirements of a member.

If you have a few hours to spare during the year and would like to get involved in the school community please register your interest to be involved as a parent helper through the P&F.

Volunteers must hold a current Working With Children’s Check. WWCC’s are free for volunteers, you can apply through the Working With Children Check Victoria website.
Business interest
Do you own/run a business, or know of a business, that may be interested in being involved in supporting the school community through fundraisers, sponsorship, in-kind support or at events?
