Interschool Sport Finals

Soccer
Boys finals:
For the first match we started off well and scored goals. The defence was really solid. Jack Griffin was the keeper he saved really difficult shots but he just missed a shot. We first played at Moorabbin primary school I think. There was a really skilled player whose number was number 9 I think. He was very good and nearly scored a goal. The scores were 3-1 and we won. In the second match they were very skilled as well. We lost 5-0 there were two players in general who would always get past us and over take us and score a good goal past Jack who was our full time keeper. At the end we got second place. Ethan 6LD
Girls finals:
The girls played St Andrew's first. For the first half we had Eugenie in the goals and she did amazing and in the second half I was in goals. The other team was really good, for the first match we won. After the first match we found out we made it into the Grand finals and we were all so happy. For the Grand finals we versus Coatesville who also made it in, after a long and hard game the St Peter’s WON!, after all the girls' amazing effort, We were all so happy that we made it into division. Tennis
The tennis finals was an amazing day with Miss Van Delft, and all the team members, Tilly, Meagan, Ella, Louisa, Mya, Rhiannon, Annalise and Tia. We played against Oakleigh South. They were surprisingly very good at tennis, then we played Murrumbena and they were also very good. We had an amazing time at Oakleigh South school where they hosted it. It was a very big school and they even had an indoor tennis ground and an outdoor one where we could practice. Overall girls came 4th and the mixed team came 6th, everyone did very well and we had an amazing and fun-filled day.

Netball
The Netball finals day started off with leaving school at 10 past nine (9:10). Then we went on a quick bus ride with the soccer and softcross teams to GESAC. When we arrived we were really early, but in no time the games started. Our first games started at 10:30 and we were VS Oakleigh South. Unfortunately we lost. After a quick 50 minutes the second game started at 11:50 against Murrumbeena and it ended in a draw 11-11. In the end we had a great experience and a lot of fun with our friends and family.

Football
We arrived at school excited for the games. At around 9:00 o'clock getting ready for the match we left to go to Centenary Park then we started setting up the field. The first match was against Saint Paul's and we won. In the second match we faced Oakleigh South and won by a fair bit around 30 points. After that we watched the B team play their game against St Paul's. Sadly they lost the game but they came forth in the competition which was a good outcome for them considering there were six teams. Then we played Coatesville in the final. At the start we were winning but they started to come back until 30 seconds left we got a goal to win the game by 5 points thanks to Jake and Hunter with Jake scoring the goal winning game and Hunter helping us get there by scoring 2 goals.

Sof-crosse
On Thursday, June 18th, the year 5 and 6’s went to the ovals at GESAC to participate in the soft-crosse finals. Four out of five teams were selected to compete against each other. Our first game was the A’s game against Coatesville. Both teams played very well, although we didn’t manage to win. Then was the B game against Oakleigh South. Again, both teams played very well but we lost the game. Then, the second A game took place against Oakleigh South and this time, we managed to win it! The St Peter's A team came 3rd overall. Then, our final game was the B team against Coatesville. We were in the lead for some time, but Coatesville came back and got the win. The St Peter's B team got 4th overall, and even though our rankings were last and second-last, everyone played very well and had lots of fun.
