Congratulations to...
Congratulations to the six Tournament of Minds teams that represented Girton at the State Finals in Melbourne on Sunday 8 September. All of the students were amazing ambassadors for our school, with four teams receiving Honours (second) and our Secondary STEM team winning their division. The school is grateful to Mrs Viv Bath for her tireless dedication as MiC of this co-curricular, and to supporting teachers Dr Christopher Maslunka, Mrs Prue Milner, Mr David Ruddick and Mr Justin Leske. Girton would also like to thank Chelsea White, Karthi Balraj and Rick Bath for accompanying the teams.
We wish Ruby Conti (12 Millward) all the best for the Aerobic Gymnastics World Championships, which will take place in Italy over the school holidays.
In competing at this event, Ruby will be fulfilling a dream she has worked towards for many years. To read more about Ruby's journey, see the Girton website.
