The Legacy Glass Cross Project was a wonderful example of students supporting one another across year levels.
Our Year 12 students embraced their role as mentors, working alongside Prep students to design and create components of a lasting glass artwork that will remain a permanent part of the College. Throughout the day, they demonstrated patience, encouragement and leadership, helping our youngest students feel valued and included in this special College tradition.
Equally important to the success of the day were our Year 9 Peer Support Leaders. These students provided outstanding support by facilitating craft activities, assisting with bushwalk sessions, and helping Prep students move confidently between activities. Their enthusiasm, maturity and willingness to serve ensured the rotations ran smoothly and that every Prep student remained engaged and supported throughout the program.
We are incredibly proud of both groups for the positive example they set. Their care, leadership and commitment created a memorable experience for our Prep students and highlighted the strong sense of community that exists across all year levels at
St Virgil's College.
