Foundation (Prep)

This week in Prep, we have been learning the sound ‘p.’ We have made purple playdough, pink potions and chalk powder paint to explore the sound. 

Prep have continued to be scientists and study different potions and experiments to inform their writing later in the term. We have also learnt about day and night and understanding what our day and night routine looks like.

Foundation (Year 1/2)

This term, the 1/2 students have enjoyed exploring the story Meg and Mog and creating wonderful writing pieces. In Numeracy, we have been learning about time and duration by talking about activities that happen in the morning, afternoon, and night. We also had fun baking cookies to share with our classmates. We have had lots of fun learning together. 

Lower Primary (Years 3-4)

Lower Primary students have been exploring what happens when different materials are mixed together and how they can change. To investigate this, we created volcanoes by building sand mountains around bottles and then combining vinegar, dishwashing liquid, food colouring, and baking soda. The mixture bubbled up and erupted from our volcanoes, much to the excitement of the students! We had lots of fun experimenting, observing the changes!
