Building Language Leaders

We were excited to run a Building Language Leaders incursion this week to support and extend Mandarin learning across the school.
During the workshop, a group of selected Year 5 and 6 students took part in leadership training, where they learned how to run fun and engaging Mandarin language games. They then put their skills into practice by leading activities with our Year 1 and 2 students.
This program helped build students’ confidence, develop leadership skills, and encourage the use of Mandarin beyond the classroom. It was fantastic to see students actively engaging in language games and taking a leading role in promoting Mandarin learning across the school.
We look forward to building on this momentum and seeing more students using Mandarin in the playground.
