Principal's Message

Dear Holy Family Parents,
Athletics Carnival Thank You
Our Athletics Carnival last Monday was a wonderful success, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to making the day so enjoyable for our students.
A special thank you to our many volunteers for your generous support and time, it is truly appreciated.
I would also like to acknowledge Mrs Gibbs our sports teacher for her outstanding organisation of the carnival. My thanks to Mrs Jones and Mrs Edwards for their excellent work in preparing for the events and ensuring everything ran smoothly.
We are very grateful for the teamwork and dedication shown by our staff and whole school community. Our sincere thanks to Jason McCawley for his wonderful photography. We can hardly wait to see the photos.
Come and Try “Big School” – Kindergarten 2027
We welcome our incoming Kindergarten 2027 students and their families to join us for a special “Come and Try Big School” session next Monday afternoon. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to become familiar with the school environment, meet staff, and begin to feel confident and excited about starting school. Through engaging activities, children will experience a taste of learning in a supportive and welcoming setting.
For families, it is a valuable chance to connect with our school community, ask questions, and gain an insight into the routines and expectations of school life.
We look forward to welcoming our future students and supporting a smooth and happy transition to “big school.”
“Glow & Grow”-Years 1 to Year 6 and “Come & Look at My Work” for Kinders
We warmly invite families to join us for our upcoming “Glow & Grow” (Years 1–6) and “Come & Look at My Work” (Kindergarten) afternoon from 2.30–5.00pm next Wednesday 20th May.
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to visit your child’s classroom, view their work, and celebrate their achievements. Most importantly, it allows students to share and talk about their learning, reflecting on their progress and growth throughout the term.
We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this special time together as a learning community.
Positive Behaviour for Learning
This week's Behaviour Spotlight: Assembly Engagement and Behaviour
Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is central to our school’s strategic focus on student wellbeing, engagement and positive learning environments. Guided by our school expectations — Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe Learners.
Looking forward to seeing you at the P&F Forum on Tuesday evening.
