Letter from the School Council President & Treasurer

 

 

As we move further into the 2026 school year, we would like to take a moment to thank you for the many ways you support our school community.

 

Parent Payment Contributions play an important role in helping the school enhance the resources, programs and opportunities available to all students. While all contributions are voluntary, Parent Payment Contributions are a vital component of the limited revenue streams available to our school. 

 

Last year, approximately 91% of families chose to make a contribution, and we are sincerely grateful to those who were able to do so. These contributions have a meaningful impact on what can be provided for our students. As a community, we hope to continue strengthening this level of support once again this year.

 

We understand that every family’s circumstances are different, and we are mindful of the financial pressures many households are experiencing. Please know that contributions are voluntary, and all students will continue to have access to the full curriculum regardless of whether a family chooses to contribute.

 

If you are considering making your 2026 parent contribution and are able to do so, we kindly encourage you to make your payment at your earliest convenience via your Compass portal.If you would like to discuss payment options or require support, please contact the school office—our administration team is always here to assist.

 

We also deeply appreciate the many other ways families support our school, including through the Parents Association, Dreamers Committee and School Council. Every contribution—financial or otherwise—helps strengthen the vibrant and supportive community that makes BBPS such a special place.
