Australian Schools Championships Basketball – Bake Sale Fundraiser!

Come along and support our students heading to the Australian Schools Championships on the Gold Coast! We will be holding a bake sale on Wednesday 4 November (Week 4) during recess and lunch.

There will be plenty of yummy treats available, including cakes, biscuits, slices and Zooper Doopers.

Bring along some cash, grab yourself a treat and help our students raise funds for their upcoming trip.

Thank you for your support!

Rebound WA Incursion

Our Year 10 Specialised Basketball students experienced basketball from a different perspective during a recent incursion with Rebound WA.

Rebound WA is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting Western Australians living with physical disabilities. Their mission is to remove physical and mental barriers, ensuring people with physical disabilities have access to the same opportunities as their able-bodied peers.

As part of the incursion, students had the opportunity to play wheelchair basketball, experiencing firsthand the unique challenges and skills involved in the sport.

The experience encouraged students to adapt their playing styles, develop new skills and gain a greater appreciation for the importance of inclusivity and accessibility in sport.

Thank you to Rebound WA for providing our students with such a valuable learning experience!
