Girton Community Action Group
At the Senior School Swimming Carnival on Friday 9 February, the Girton Community Action Group (GCAG) ran a sausage sizzle. Thanks to all the student, staff and parent support, we sold over 500 sausages and raised more than $600 dollars. This will be donated to Bendigo Foodshare and will provide more than 1,200 meals for people in our region.
Bendigo Foodshare works with partners and the community to connect people to healthy, affordable food by improving local supply and access, developing food skills, and supporting a sustainable and healthy environment. GCAG is pleased to be able to support this worthy cause.
Thank you to everyone who supported the sausage sizzle. Next, we are looking forward to hosting events during Harmony Week in Week 8 of this term. Watch this space for more details!
