All Parents/Caregivers are members of our P&F and are invited to attend the next meeting on Monday 27 October at 5:00pm in the Library. We look forward to seeing you there.

Socktober

In Week 3, students from Pre-Primary to Year 6 will have the chance to kick goals for kids in need around the world during their class sport time. Each child will be given thirty seconds to try to kick as many goals as they can with a sockball made by children at our school.

Sockballs are used in soccer games played by children in slums all over the world and are traditionally made from rags and plastic bags. Students have the opportunity to raise funds through sponsorship for the number of goals they kick or a lump sum amoung. Their sponsorship forms were sent home last week and spare can be collected from the Admin office. We request that Sponsorship forms are returned to school by Monday 3 November.

Students are invited to wear a soccer shirt/apparel with their school uniform to acknowledge Socktober on Tuesday 28 October. This is not compulsory and they do not need to bring in a donation to wear soccer apparel with their uniform.
