Meet Bella Rose
We have been lucky enough at St Helena’s to have the extension characters of the Kimochi program.
Bella Rose is a very sweet and responsible rose, who loves nature and is accepting of all living things.
Bella Rose is very sensitive, and this helps her to teach students about compassion and empathy.
Bella can also find her sensitivity a challenge, when her feelings get hurt, she has a hard time expressing herself.
Bella Rose can be known to close herself up tight as a bud and put out her protective thorns when she feels bad.
Bella Rose supports students in:
Sharing true feelings rather than hiding them behind hurtful actions
Practicing empathy and compassion towards others
Creating emotional balance in group settings
Having Bella Rose in our classrooms helps children feel safe expressing their emotions and builds their confidence in communicating with peers and adults.
