Staffing Update

Welcome back Nathan!

As you all know, our substantive Principal, Nathan, has been undertaking a secondment this term. While we have greatly appreciated the opportunities and experiences this has provided him, we are excited to share that Nathan will be returning to Carlton Gardens Primary School next term.

We know Nathan is looking forward to reconnecting with students, staff and families and returning to the vibrant school community he knows so well. We are also eager to hear about the experiences, learning and insights he has gained during his time away and how these may further strengthen our school.

Welcome to CGPS, Emily!

We are also pleased to share the appointment of Emily Corcoran as our new Leading Teacher, who will be joining the Carlton Gardens Primary School community next term. Emily brings a wealth of knowledge and experience and will play a key role in supporting Teaching and Learning across the school.

Over the coming months, Emily will work closely with the leadership team to learn the unique strengths, priorities and practices of CGPS, while partnering with teachers to continue building high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students. We are excited to welcome Emily to our community and look forward to the positive impact she will have as we continue our collective work to improve outcomes for every learner.

Congratulation to Carly and Katie!

We are delighted to share that both Katie and Carly have agreed to remain at CGPS for the remainder of the school year. Katie will continue her outstanding work within the Year 4 team and with the students of 4C, who have greatly enjoyed having her as their teacher and are excited that she will remain with them for the rest of the year. 

We are also pleased that Carly has accepted the classroom teacher position in Prep C. Carly has quickly become a valued member of our school community and her appointment will provide continuity of learning and support for our Prep students. Working alongside Laura, Carly will continue the strong collaborative approach that has helped create a positive and successful learning environment for our youngest learners.
