Upcoming Curriculum Days 

Parent Teacher Interviews

Wednesday the 24th of June is a Curriculum Day, students are not required to attend school. However, we encourage students to attend their Parent-Teacher Interview with their family where possible. This provides a valuable opportunity for students to share their learning, celebrate their achievements and be involved in discussions about their future learning goals. Interviews will be held in your child's classroom.

Parent-Teacher Interviews will be held on Wednesday 24th of June, from 8:45am to 4:45pm. Bookings are now open through Compass under “Conferences”. We encourage all families to book a time that suits their availability.

Please note that Nancy (2C) will be on leave and unavailable for interviews on the 24th of June. Interviews for 2C families will be rescheduled for early Term 3, with further information shared via compass to the families of children in 2C.

Specialist teachers will also be available for interviews on the same day. As appointment times are limited, we ask families to only book a specialist interview if they would particularly like to discuss their child's learning, progress or engagement in that area. There is no expectation that families meet with all specialist teachers.  Specialist teachers will be holding all of their interviews in the STEM classroom on Level 2. 

Curriculum Day

A reminder to families that Monday 13th of July (Term 3, Day 1) will be a Curriculum Day and therefore a student-free day. Students will return to school on Tuesday 14th of July for the beginning of Term 3.

The Curriculum Day will provide staff with valuable time to prepare for the term ahead and continue our work to improve learning outcomes for all students. Throughout the day, staff will engage in professional learning and planning focused on our new Annual Implementation Plan (AIP), developing a shared understanding of the priorities and improvement work that will guide us through the second half of the year.

Teaching teams will also continue building their knowledge and understanding of our literacy instructional model, exploring high-quality resources and mentor texts that will support teaching and learning across the term. This collaborative planning time ensures staff are well prepared to deliver engaging, evidence-informed learning experiences for all students.
