Another year, another dream!
As we settle back into the school routine, the BBPS Dreamers Social Club is back in 2026, and we would love for you to join the fun!
The social club is run ‘by the dads for the dads’ and organise several activities throughout the year! Events include fundraising BBQ’s, health & wellness evenings, various social gatherings, and the epic annual Dad’s footy match vs Brighton Primary.
We’re about to kick off the fun with a couple of cool activities so it’s a great time to get involved. All are very welcome and it’s a great way to meet other dads, uncles or careers - so if you’re keen (or think your husband or partner would benefit from this great community group), send us an email with your details to bbpsdreamers@gmail.com or speak to one of the current dads or committee members and we’ll get you on board!
BBPS Welcome BBQ – helpers needed!
The annual BBPS Welcome BBQ on this year on Friday 27th February, and we are again responsible for ensuring everyone is fed and hydrated!
We are looking for a number of dads to volunteer on the BBQ throughout the afternoon so please sign up via the link to help where you can. These things don’t happen by chance and need many hands to make it possible!

Twilight Barefoot Bowls!
On Friday 13th March, we’re taking over the bowls club at the end of South Rd for the 1st Annual Dreamers Twilight Barefoot Bowls Tournament.
The Format: It’s a pairs event, so grab a mate (or enter solo and we’ll find you one). Team costumes totally encouraged — bonus points if you lean into the whole Friday the 13th thing.
The Vibe: Cheap, old‑school bowls club drink prices and sausage sizzle. A golden sunset, patchy grass, and plenty of questionable technique. Epic tunes, great banter, and eternal bragging rights for the winners.
