Hume Athletics

For the students who qualified on the O&M Athletics Day, you are now invited to participate in the next round on Tuesday 6th October (Week 1 Term 4).

Bus leaves at 8:00am and returns 4pm.

Consent and Payment due Monday 14th September.

Plants 4 Space Excursion

We have been offered a day at the new facility, Wangaratta Tech School which has just opened to provide incursions and excursions to surrounding schools. This is a hands-on workshop, working with Plants for Space researchers and exploring the science behind future life on the Moon and Mars. Bus leaves at 8:30am and returns at 3:15pm

An opt in event has been published on Compass and open to the first 20 students who fully complete the process. You must OPT IN, AND provide parent CONSENT on the same day.

This event is free.

Youth Crew

The Youth Crew Camp is booked for the Year 10 Youth Crew students.

Thursday 5th November – Friday 6th November at Outdoor School - Bogong.

CONSENT DUE DATE - 18TH SEPTEMBER

Applications for 2027 Youth Crew are now open to Year 9 Students. Application forms are at the school office or ask Mr Brad Redmond.

Applications are due TODAY Friday 11th September (hand into the office).

Indonesian Camp 2027

We have moved into the booking stage of the camp and paid our first deposit on the airfares to lock in a good price. An event has been published for the remaining balance of the tour. We ask that families opt into the payment plan set up on Compass, with the first instalment due NOW.

Ms Rose will be emailing families regarding the costing and itinerary. Estimated cost of the tour with flights is $3500 but may change due to numbers attending or the Australian Dollar value.

If you missed out putting your name down, please contact Ita Rose as soon as possible to help with planning.

Year 10 Surf Camp

12th - 16th October

Year 10 surf camp at Phillip Island has been published on Compass.

$600 (payment plans available on Compass or contact the office to discuss payment options).

Even though this is an optional camp, we are hoping all Year 10 students will attend. See posters for more information about what is on offer.

Year 8 Paddle Camp

Monday 30th November - Friday 4th December

The Year 8 Paddle Camp is still open for families to consent and pay. The cost of the camp is $300. Even though this is an opt-in event, we are hoping all Year 8 students will attend to continue to develop their social skills, and help create a connected cohort.
