GRIP Leadership Conference

Our leadership team from Kempsey High School had an incredible day at the GRIP Leadership Conference, learning new strategies to lead with confidence and positivity. A special shout-out to Tanayah and Brodie for enthusiastically participating in the stage activities — we’re so proud of their behaviour and the valuable insights they brought back!

GRIP Leadership is an independent organisation that exists to train and develop leaders with a special focus on school students and the educational sector.

Most known for the 'GRIP Student Leadership Conferences,'  GRIP Leadership programs are fresh, practical, interactive and enjoyed by tens of thousands of students each year.

GRIP Leadership is endorsed by leaders, educators, politicians and business people around Australia.

Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza

Kempsey High School competed at the Upper Hunter Beef Bonanza in Scone. Congratulations to our ICMJ consisting of Riley Mitchell, Lylah Weismantel, Tilly Weismantel & Lucas News who were Reserve Champion team in the identification section. Also a huge congratulations to Lylah who was Reserve Individual Champion, capping off a very successful year for her. 

Boys' Barbering Workshop

✨ A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made our Boys’ Barbering Workshop at Kempsey TAFE a huge success! ✂️

We’re incredibly grateful to TAFE staff for providing the fantastic facilities and support that made this event possible.

We also want to extend our gratitude to Sam from The Regional Industry Education Partnerships program for making the day happen.

This workshop has been a great opportunity for our male students to explore barbering, gain hands-on experience, and develop skills that boost both confidence and future career options. Well done boys!
