Year 9 RAID Program

Year 9 RAID Day – 29th April
Our Year 9 students enjoyed another engaging and action-packed RAID Day on Wednesday 29th April, taking part in four valuable activities designed to build teamwork, responsibility, life skills and community connection.
Students kicked off the day with Archery Attack, an energetic and hands-on activity in the stadium that challenged students to work together, communicate effectively and think strategically in a fun and active environment.
In Respecting Our Planet, students explored important environmental issues including climate change and plastic pollution. This session encouraged students to think critically about the impact humans have on the environment and the small changes we can all make to help protect our planet.
Students then headed outdoors to participate in a clean-up of our local creek area. It was wonderful to see so many students engaging positively in the local community, showing pride in their environment and working together to improve a shared public space.
The day also included Money Mentors – Session 2, where students continued developing practical financial literacy skills. They learnt how to read household bills, create budgets and make wise spending choices — important skills for future independence.
RAID Days continue to provide our students with authentic learning experiences that build confidence, teamwork and real-world knowledge. We are proud of the positive way our Year 9 students represented the school throughout the day.
